How to Add Borders around Columns in a Bar Chart

Tableau has been consistently leading in the world of data visualization, and with it's latest releases the bar just keeps going high. The amount of features and flexibility provided empowers the users with amazing customization opportunities, only limited by our creativity. Insights are derived from data like never before in much lesser amounts of time using fantastic dashboards and stories.

The subtleties of each individual component bit by bit creates the framework of a spectacular art. And art, as we know, is the imposing of a pattern on experience, and our aesthetic enjoyment is recognition of the pattern. One such element is borders, and we tend to use them a lot, say for example around each column in a Bar chart. Here, using the Sample Superstore dataset, we are adding borders to the columns in a Bar chart showing Sales of Product Categories for each Customer Segment, for the years 2010-2013.
